The tranny is a lot easier if you have an engine hoist, at the shop or a friend, unfortunately it was just me, a stock jack and two floor jacks. Oh yeah, I had an engine hoist and plenty of jackstands/wood. The proper torque settings are 83 ft-lbs on the flywheel and 21 ft-lbs on the pressure plate.
Focus st250, Crank problems. Hi Just some info really. He took it to a garage end of October (yes 4 months ago) as the Crank needed replacing as well as rods and various other jobs. He came home last night said the garage dont know the torque setting for the crank so they cant do it.

For those reasons, I tend to tighten all the lug nuts essentially to finger-tightness with a ratchet wrench first. I then take two passes at the lug nuts with the torque wrench: first by tightening to 65 ft-lbs. all around, and then finally to 100 ft-lbs. all around. Never hurts to retorque new wheels after a week or so either.
The idea of a street-legal, reliable, largely stock 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making nearly 300 lb.-ft. of torque might have seemed ludicrous 10 years ago, but the components of the MP275 Focus ST performance upgrade not only combine to produce up to 296 lb.-ft. of torque with 93-octane fuel, they are designed for maximum reliability as well.
