The propeller spinner and blades were replaced by a Quickboost version, which looked much better. Sadly, though it seems it only fits the Revell G-10. On the Trumpeter G-10, this spinner is some 2-3mm too tall for the profile and 1mm too wide. So, I retailed the original, and added detail that was on the QB version but not the kit equivalent. The Gustav, the nick name of Bf-109 G6 was the most heavily produced variant of the 109 series. Wartime development tried to make the plane a more suitable bomber interceptor. Depending on availability of this bigger weapon, some Bf 109Gs had a nose-mounted 30 mm Mk 108 cannon instead of the 20 mm type.
